Notre Dame Belmont senior Krissy Smoot won the girls discus throw with an effort of 142-4 (43.38m) at the CIF Central Coast Section Championships at Gilroy High in Gilroy, Calif. Smoot also placed second in the shot put with a mark of 45-7 (13.89m).
